Dr. Uncles offered a very personal and caring yet professional understanding, he explained precisely what actions he would be performing and why, all of which gave me a relaxed peace of mind. He answered fully any question I raised. I had complete confidence in his ability to look after my well being.
I have no hesitation in recommending him to perform Anaesthesia.

I went to Goring Hall Hospital to have surgery on my knee. David Uncles saw me pre-operatively and explained everything. He was very re-assuring and had a very calming influence on me. I agreed with him to have a spinal anaesthetic. In the theatres he told me he has given me some mild sedatives and the next thing I knew was that my operation was finished. I did not feel the spinal needle or the operation. He saw me post operatively on the ward and also the next day to make sure that there were no problems. I will totally recommend him as their anaesthetist to my family and friends.

Dr Uncles was very careful to explain everything that would happen before my ankle replacement took place and despite having experienced previous trouble with having a cannula fitted he made the job very easy and painless. He was polite and caring which helped me greatly being very nervous before the operation.

I am a specialist Anaesthetist with interests in Obstetric, Ambulatory and Inpatient anaesthesia. I employ a variety of anaesthetic techniques including general or regional anaesthesia, although I often use them in combination to optimise and enhance patients' peri and post-operative experience.
I am dedicated to putting the patient first through the provision of safe and reassuring care delivered in conjunction with my colleagues and associates.
I was present at the inauguration of the Helsinki Declaration in June 2010. This enshrines the values essential to the promotion of the highest professional and safety standards expected of anaesthetists. It is my hope to match or even exceed the expectations of patients who place their trust in me.
